Built around a chronograph, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 26319OR.AY.1256OR.01 Chronograph Amethyst Dial (2021) combines a 38mm rose gold case, a purple dial, and an automatic movement.
Part of the Royal Oak Chronograph 38mm range introduced in 2019, the reference pairs Gérald Genta's enduring 1972 octagonal architecture with a mesmerizing purple dial achieved through multiple layers of PVD, producing hues that shift from pink through blue to violet as light moves across the surface. The 38mm case in 18-karat pink gold measures 11mm thick, its octagonal bezel set with 32 baguette-cut amethysts that echo the dial's tones, secured beneath the signature hexagonal screws.
The self-winding Caliber 2385, comprising 304 parts, drives the chronograph with a 40-hour power reserve, completed by an integrated pink gold Royal Oak bracelet with AP folding clasp.
The purple "Grande Tapisserie" dial carries three purple chronograph counters, pink gold applied hour markers, and luminescent Royal Oak hands, with a date aperture at four-thirty.
This timepiece has an old-style box.
