Three chronograph registers sit at three, six, and nine o'clock, with a tachymeter inner bezel and a date aperture between four and five.
Matched to a rich plum purple "Grande Tapisserie" dial, this frosted white gold execution represents a rare convergence of the maison's gem-setting artistry and Genta's enduring 1972 design. The 41mm case in 18-karat frosted white gold measures 11mm thick, framing a plum purple "Grande Tapisserie" dial with silver-toned counters, white gold applied hour markers, and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating.
The self-winding Caliber 2385 drives the chronograph with a 40-hour power reserve, completed by an integrated frosted white gold Royal Oak bracelet with AP folding clasp. This timepiece has factory stickers on the buckle.
This Royal Oak Chronograph unites two of Audemars Piguet's most distinctive innovations within a single limited edition of just 200 pieces. The frosted gold finish — developed with Florentine jewelry designer Carolina Bucci and first introduced for the Royal Oak's 40th anniversary in 2016 — revives an ancient hammering technique in which the gold surface is struck with a diamond-tipped tool, scattering microscopic indentations that shimmer like diamond dust.
This is a limited edition of 200 pieces. Production is limited to 200 pieces. The watch dates to 2019; it is described in like new & unworn condition and is offered with its original box and original papers.
