In Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26170ST.OO.D091CR.01 Chronograph 'Safari' Srainless Steel White Dial Limited Edition (2015), a chronograph is presented through a 42mm stainless steel case, a white tapisserie dial, and an automatic movement.
The cream "Méga Tapisserie" dial carries bold three-dimensional black Arabic numerals, three recessed silver-toned subdials, a date aperture at three, and a tachymeter scale on the inner bezel.
The 42mm case in stainless steel measures 14.2mm thick, with the signature octagonal bezel secured by eight white gold hexagonal screws and black rubber-clad screw-down crown and pushers.
The in-house automatic Caliber 3126/3840 — derived from the Caliber 3120 with a chronograph module — delivers a 50-hour power reserve, completed by the signature brown hornback alligator strap with cream contrast stitching and steel AP folding clasp.
First introduced in 2005 as a leather-strap variant before transitioning to the in-house Caliber 3126/3840 in 2007, it earned its evocative nickname from the warm cream "Méga Tapisserie" dial and the brown hornback alligator strap — the only Offshore at its launch to feature hornback alligator.
This 2015 example is presented in pre-owned (very good) condition and accompanied by its original box and original papers.
