Description
A chronograph defines Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26170ST.OO.D101CR.01 Chronograph 'Volcano' 'LeBron James July 8, 2010 Miami Heat' Stainless Steel Black Arabic Orange Dial (2010); its construction brings together a 42mm stainless steel case, a black arabic orange dial, and an automatic movement.
The 42mm case in brushed stainless steel is configured with the signature octagonal bezel secured by eight polished white gold hexagonal screws, with black ceramic-clad screw-down crown and pushers. This is a 1/1 with an engraved LeBron James signature, and July 8, 2010 "Miami Heat" (the Decision date) on the caseback.
The in-house automatic Caliber 3126/3840 — comprising 365 components — delivers a 55-hour power reserve, completed by an orange leather strap with contrasting black stitching.
The black "Méga Tapisserie" dial carries large luminescent orange Arabic numerals, three recessed black subdials at twelve, nine, and six, an orange tachymeter scale on the inner bezel, and a date aperture at three. This timepiece is on an orange leather strap, and comes with the original hang tag.
The "Volcano" is among the most boldly conceived Royal Oak Offshores ever produced — its nickname earned from the dramatic interplay of vivid orange against deep black that evokes molten lava. Released in 2008 and produced through 2012 before discontinuation, the reference distilled the Offshore's sport-luxury ethos into one of the most chromatically expressive configurations in the line's history.
The watch dates to 2010; it is described in pre-owned (very good) condition and is offered with its original box and original papers.
