A chronograph defines Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26378IO.OO.A001KE.01 'Arnold Schwarzenegger The Legacy Chronograph' Black Ceramic Black Dial Limited Edition (2013); its construction brings together a 48mm ceramic case, a black dial, and an automatic movement.
The 48mm case, bezel, and crown are executed in black ceramic with bead-blasted titanium screws, caseback, and case protectors, the crown set with a rose gold AP-engraved disc.
The black "Méga Tapisserie" dial carries applied rose gold Arabic numerals and faceted hands with luminescence, three recessed subdials with rose gold trim, a raised rose gold flange bearing the tachymeter scale, small seconds at twelve, and a date at three.
The automatic Caliber 2326/2840 chronograph delivers a 38-hour power reserve, with rose gold pushers and a strap secured by an oversized titanium buckle. The case is matched to a textile strap.
Released in 2011 in a limited edition of 1,500 pieces, it was conceived as the final chapter in the series the two created together.
Dated 2013, this example is offered in pre-owned (very good) condition with its original box and original papers.
