Built around a chronograph, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26420SO.OO.A600CA.01 Chronograph Stainless Steel Smoked Light Brown Dial (2021) combines a 43mm stainless steel case, a smoked light brown dial, and an automatic movement.
The 26420 also introduces refined subdial positioning and updated proportions compared to earlier 42mm Offshore chronographs, creating better visual balance while maintaining the collection's bold, muscular presence established since the Offshore's 1993 debut. The smoked light brown dial is arranged with the new-generation Méga Tapisserie waffle pattern with black chronograph counters at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positioned against black outer zone. White gold applied hour markers and Royal Oak hands feature luminescent coating.
Black inner bezel displays tachymeter scale, date window positioned at 4: 30.
The reference 26420 series represents a significant evolution for the Royal Oak Offshore chronograph line, introduced in 2022 with a redesigned 43mm case specifically engineered to accommodate the new manufacture Caliber 4401. The 43mm stainless steel case measures 14.4mm thick with octagonal architecture secured by eight hexagonal screws across the black ceramic bezel. Sandblasted stainless steel pushpiece guards flank the black ceramic chronograph pushers and screw-locked crown.
An exhibition caseback reveals the movement. This marks a departure from previous Offshore chronographs that utilized modified base movements, as the 4401 incorporates fully integrated chronograph architecture with column-wheel control and flyback function. Manufacture Caliber 4401 automatic integrated chronograph incorporates column-wheel mechanism with flyback function, operating at 28,800 vph with 40 jewels, 367 components, and 70-hour power reserve.
Light brown rubber strap with interchangeable strap system and stainless steel AP pin buckle, includes additional black rubber strap, 100-meter water resistance. This timepiece comes with the original white hang tag and an additional strap. The watch dates to 2021; it is described in pre-owned (very good) condition and is offered with its original box and original papers.
