Description
A chronograph defines Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26568IM.OO.A004CA.01 'Michael Schumacher' Chronograph Titanium Grey Dial Limited Edition (2013); its construction brings together a 44mm titanium case, a grey dial, and an automatic movement.
The anthracite "Méga Tapisserie" dial is arranged with a checkered chapter ring, three black subdials with polished borders evoking dashboard instruments, and luminescent applied markers.
Released in 2012 and limited to just 1,000 pieces in titanium, the reference was designed with Schumacher himself fully immersed in the project, marrying the Royal Oak Offshore's bold architecture with motorsport-inspired details throughout. The 44mm case in polished and satin-finished titanium frames a cermet bezel — a ceramic-metal composite of exceptional hardness — with black ceramic crown and pushers guarded by titanium protectors.
The in-house automatic Caliber 3126/3840 delivers a 50-hour power reserve, its 22-karat gold rotor finished in anthracite with raised "MS" signature and NACA-duct-inspired cutouts.
A grey rubber strap with titanium buckle completes the watch.
This 2013 example is presented in pre-owned (very good) condition and accompanied by its original box and original papers.
