François-Paul Journe pays tribute to research conducted on resonance by great 18th century watchmakers with presentation of first wristwatch resonance chronometer where in 1983 François-Paul Journe took up challenge with first creation in form of pocket watch which did not yet perform according to his expectations and it would take fifteen more years of work for watchmaker to gain maturity and experience to enable him to present exclusive world premiere representing first resonance wristwatch. Featuring natural phenomenon of resonance, this exceptional mechanism with its twin balances beating in perfect synchronization revolutionized classic standards of watchmaking by offering unequalled precision for wristwatch where this physical phenomenon known as resonance is frequently part of our daily lives and yet we hardly notice it like when looking for program on radio it crackles until chosen wavelengths meet those of transmitter when they harmonize to begin resonating together.
The watch is offered with its original box and original papers.
