Description
The F.P. Journe Quantième Perpétuel Black Label Ref. QP presents the manufacture’s perpetual calendar in a 40mm platinum case with a black guilloché dial and an automatic movement. Its approximately 10.8mm case thickness gives the watch a notably slim profile for a calendar mechanism of this complexity.
The black dial is organized for direct reading of the complete perpetual-calendar display. Apertures indicate the day, date, month, and leap year, while 18-carat white-gold Arabic numerals define the hours. Rhodium-plated hands preserve contrast across the dark surface, and a separate power-reserve indication adds a practical mechanical reference.
Inside is the automatic Caliber 1300.3. The movement is wound by a unidirectional platinum rotor operating on a frictionless ball-bearing system and delivers a five-day, 120-hour power reserve.
A leather strap completes the platinum and black-dial configuration. This example is accompanied by its original box and original papers.
