Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700/1A 'Jumbo' Stainless Steel Blue Dial combines a stainless steel case, a blue dial, and an automatic movement.
Slim at just thick, the 3700/1A houses the ultra-thin automatic caliber 28-255 C.
Designed by Gérald Genta, it incorporates a stainless steel case ( across the widest point (including the “ears”)) with its signature porthole-inspired design and integrated bracelet, marking a bold departure from traditional dress watches of the era. The case measures 42mm by 42mm.
The blue dial, with its horizontal ridges and applied white gold hour markers, has become one of the most iconic in watchmaking history.
Revered by collectors, the 3700/1A set the foundation for the luxury sports watch category and remains one of the most important and collectible Patek Philippe references of the 20th century.
