Its 40mm stainless steel case incorporates the classic bidirectional 24-hour bezel—here in all-black anodised aluminium—paired with a deep black dial, luminous hour markers and hands, and the signature extra GMT-hand for tracking a second time zone.

At 3 o’clock the date aperture sits beneath Rolex’s Cyclops lens, while the Oyster bracelet and screw-down crown maintain durability and precision. Produced between 1989 and 2007, the 16710 stands out for being the last series of GMT-Master II references to feature the slimmer five-digit case design and aluminium bezel insert.
